Diplomacy is a strategy board game from Avalon Hill - and one of the best games out there! (Yep, it's not a computer game ) There is tons of information on the net about the game (some of which is referenced below), so just go through the links to  look for the resources you need - or simply buy a copy of Diplomacy and get some friends together to play it now.

The beauty of Diplomacy: there are no dices, no cards, no luck. If you want to win the game, you basically have to make your counterparts let you win the game. It's really all about diplomacy, which makes it a very interesting game. In fact, you better play it with either very good friends or people you don't care about. That's because sometimes, Diplomacy is very close to an unpleasant aspect of real live - winning is about betraying your partner at the right time - and not all of your so-called friends might like this. ;-)
But as long as you see it for what it is - a great game - you will recognize it as being a lot of fun.

Anyway, Diplomacy is definitely among my top choices for spending a fun time with some good friends. So, let yourself into the world of one of the greatest board games ever.
