Help on Amazon's ASIN

First of all: it's all completely legal and within the rules; it's simply convenient this way!

Every item on Amazon.com has a product number that is encoded in the URL.

 Just search your favorite item on Amazon.com, and once you are on the page that displays your item exclusively, check the URL for the 10-digit alpha-numeric number following "/ASIN/" - that's the ASIN number you can use in the entry field.

Example URL:

Here, the ASIN number to use is 0345384563 (This example ASIN number should bring you to the page for the book "A History of God").

Once you enter that number in the text field and follow the link on the page displayed, you'll find yourself right back at Amazon.com with your item. Only that if you buy the item then, this site gets credited for the full referral. - Thanks.
