- a book club for unruly members
BARF (= Bay Area Reading Fans) is an exclusive book club of a quite diverse group of
people in the San Francisco Bay Area who enjoy reading and having discussions about it.
The book club is formed by a group of friends. At this point, the meetings
are only held at each other's places. Also, new members may be added by personal
reference from an existing member upon unanimous approval of the group.
However, we do appreciate and welcome comments and/or suggestions from
reading fans anywhere (particularly reading
suggestions). If there's ample interest to extend this book club, we will
consider looking into an alternative online forum for broader participation.
